It is recommended that you will add a few metres to allow for cutting and shaping.

Do I need to water my lawn once laid?
Once your lawn is laid, ensure that your sod is thouroghly soaked.
- Water continuously until the sod has fully established. This can take up to two weeks.
- Ensure that your lawn never dries out.
- During sunny hot periods your lawn should be watered at least twice daily.
- Remember you can never water your lawn too much!!!!
What about weeds?
Leinster lawns deliver a fully mature weed free lawn to the customer.
Where do you deliver to?
Our prime lush green turf sod can be delivered nationwide and can be with you within 48 hours. However, during peak season (April- October), we ask that you give us at least 72 hours notice. Our office hours are Mon-Sat 8am-6pm.
What about maintenance?
Little or no maintenance is required.
However when mowing, we do advice that for the initial cuts, the lawnmower blade height should be at its max, never removing more than one third of the grass height.
Gradually reduce lawnmower height to just above one third of the grass height.
Does the price include V.A.T?
V.A.T is charged at 13.5%. This is added on to the final price. For a free quote now click here.
When can I walk on my new instant lawn?
Generally we do not recommend you to use your new lawn until it is rooted. However, depending on ground conditions your turf sod may be able to withstand light human traffic.
What size are your rolls of turf?
Our turf sod measures 16 inches wide by 80 inches long (approx 1 square yard).
You are welcome to order in metres or yards.
